One of Australia’s largest rail freight businesses needed to increase engagement with their train drivers. The specific challenge was how they could surface relevant data to create insights, and then share this with the drivers to help them do a better job every day.


By using our Experience Definition methodology, Concentrix Catalyst conducted research with train drivers, and through this, we were able to deliver insights that would address driving techniques and safety challenges.


Concentrix Catalyst delivered an iOS app that empowers and educates train drivers about driving risks and driving techniques. By giving drivers a tool that has truly engaged them, Pacific National will realize millions of dollars in fuel savings, improve safety, reduce breakages, increase network capacity, improve training, and have less impact on the environment.
